Now that summer is soon approaching, I’ve been trading in my morning lattes for iced coffees! One ingredient that brings out dimension in coffee is salt. This recipe can also be used with a blender to make a frappe-like texture.

Although the temperature of my coffee has changed, one ingredient has remained the same – collagen powder. Adding collagen powder into coffee is an easy way to incorporate it into your daily diet. Collagen benefits our bodies in so many ways – it keeps our hair, skin, nails, and joints healthy.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prepare espresso shots or measure out cold brew coffee and set aside
  2. Combine milk, collagen powder, vanilla, salt, and honey and pour over ice
  3. Pour espresso shots or cold brew on top, stir, and enjoy!
  4. Optional: instead of adding ingredients separately, combine all ingredients with ice and blend together in a mixer for a frappe-like consistency!

Craving something sweet, but want to eat some chocolate that has all of your favorite things? Here’s a simple healthy chocolate bar recipe that you can tailor to your taste buds AND has a serving of collagen! The recipe calls for coconut oil as a base, which has iron, manganese, and zinc. The toppings you add to the chocolate bar are customizable, so get creative and pick your favorite flavor combinations!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix together the coconut oil, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, and NeoraFit collagen powder (and optional peanut butter).
  2. Add sweetener to taste.
  3. Pour chocolate mixture into a chocolate bar mold.
  4. Sprinkle nut and fruit toppings on top.
  5. Place in the refrigerator until set. Remember to store it in the refrigerator when not eating.

An easy way to sneak in extra protein and collagen powder into your diet is by adding them into your smoothie! Perfect for breakfast or as post workout fuel, summer has arrived and we want to use all the fresh produce in season we can. Strawberry and chocolate has always been a winning combination and oh so pretty to look at!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender (except for chocolate)
  2. Adjust smoothie thickness by adding more/less milk of choice
  3. Melt chocolate and drizzle on the inside of your serving glass or jar
  4. Pour smoothie mixture into a glass or jar and enjoy!

  2. Cover and place in the fridge for at least two hours. 
  3. When serving, scoop chia seed pudding into a mason jar and fill to a third.
  4. Add fresh fruit of choice on top of chia seed pudding.
  5. Layer yogurt of choice on top of fruit.
  6. Add any additional toppings on top of fruit and then drizzle with honey.

Note: depending on how you like the consistency, add more/less milk.
