A dangerous vehicle chase that ended in a four-vehicle crash north-west of Adelaide was allegedly sparked by a pub brawl over a woman.
It is understood a group of men began violently fighting inside venue Henley House, at Henley Beach, before the feud spilled outside about 11.10pm yesterday.
Witnesses said motorcycles were broken into pieces during the brawl.
"They were brawling really bad, hitting each other with helmets. It got pretty bad, they broke up pieces of their bike," Adam Moohead told 9News.
Several people then allegedly left the brawl on motorcycles, heading north on Seaview Road, with a black Nissan allegedly in close pursuit.
"The two people got in their cars and then I saw them speed off and start chasing the bikers," Moohead said.
Minutes later, the Nissan collided with three motorcycles at the intersection of Seaview Road and Grange Road.
Two of the riders, a 20-year-old Davoren Park man, and 20-year-old Elizabeth Grove man, were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
It is understood they were helped by two women first on the scene, who stabilised the pair.
A third rider fled the scene on foot and has not yet been found.
The driver of the car, a 41-year-old Clearview man, was arrested and taken to hospital as a precaution.
"He has now been charged with fight in a public place and two counts of cause harm by dangerous driving," police said today.
The passenger in the car, a 20-year-old Clearview man, was also arrested and charged with fight in a public place.
The driver and passenger were both bailed to face Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on separate dates in March.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.
