The sole survivor of the deadly mushroom lunch that killed three people in Victoria last year has spoken for the first time.
Pastor Ian Wilkinson's wife, Heather, her sister Gail Patterson, and brother-in-law, Don Patterson all died in hospital after eating a beef wellington at Erin Patterson's home in Leongatha on July 29.
The 70-year-old survived the meal and spent months recovering in hospital.
Wilkinson addressed his congregation for the first time on February 11, saying it had been a "big week" full of milestones.
"At the start of the week, it was six months since Heather and Gail and Don went to be with the Lord," he said, in a video published in the Herald Sun.
"Wednesday was the day, the anniversary day of my induction as pastor. Friday was my birthday, turning 70.
"And yesterday was our 45th wedding anniversary. So it's been a pretty big week."
He told his congregation that despite this, his faith remained strong.
"Let me encourage you to keep on going," Wilkinson said.
"The way is sometimes hard, but God is good. He is with us. He promised never to leave or forsake us, and I can say that is true."
Erin Patterson was arrested in early November and was charged over the deaths of her former in-laws Don and Gail Patterson, as well as Heather Wilkinson.
She's also been charged with attempted murder after Ian Wilkinson survived the alleged poisoning and alleged prior attempts to kill her estranged husband Simon four times.
