A man is accused of causing more than $10,000 in damage after he "keyed" a number of cars across north-west Sydney.
Six cars, including three Teslas, an Audi, a Mercedes, and a Golf, were allegedly keyed while parked in shopping centres in Rouse Hill, Box Hills, and Schofields, during January and February this year.
After public appeals, a member of the public called police to a shopping centre car park in Schofields last night.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old Blacktown man.
Police will allege a three-bladed metal multi-tool was found in the man's possession.
He has been charged with six counts of malicious damage and one count of custody of an offensive implement in a public place.
He was remanded in custody overnight and will appear in court today.
Police have been advised the repair bill for the six vehicles is estimated to be more than $10,000.
Inquiries are continuing.
