Bupa Travel Insurance revealed where Aussies like to go for a break, according to data from people buying their all-important policies.
Suitcases are also being packed for long-haul flights to the UK and USA, along with closer, more tropical destinations, the company says.

The Philippines is known for its beaches and cities, and took the number ten spot on the list.
The country, as well as Japan, is most popular for those aged 56-65, Bupa Travel Insurance said.
Japan, is the ninth most popular spot, the travel insurer found.
Meanwhile it also revealed the most common claims made.
Lost luggage and lost or stolen personal items are among most frequently claimed items, followed by medical and hospital expenses and claims associated with interrupted travels plans including, travel delays, alternative transport, cancellation fees and lost deposits.
Singapore, with its dazzling harbour, shopping and theme parks, came in at number eight.
Those aged between 40 and 50 are opting to relax in Fiji and Thailand, according to the company.
Fiji was the seventh most popular holiday place.
Thailand, with its holiday resorts and busy cities, is a travel hotspot for Aussies, the report said.
Aussies don't have to go overseas for a holiday.
The company found taking a break in the nation was the fifth most popular holiday.
The UK, with its big cities and rolling scenery, might be a long way to travel, but it is one of the holiday hotspots for Australians.
It landed at number four.
A short hop over the Tasman, New Zealand was the third most visited destination.
The 21-25 age group are the most frequent flyers to the USA for its bright lights and Hollywood appeal, the report found.
It made it to the second spot on the countdown.
There's no surprise that the top Aussie holiday spot is Indonesia - home to the island of Bali.
Affordability make it a top holiday hotspot for some of those aged under 20, Bupa said.
