The father of a hit-and-run victim has forgiven the driver who left his daughter a paraplegic.
Braden Lee Bradshaw, 32, chose to have his bail revoked and confessed to the September 2022 bushland hit-and-run in Greenfields, south of Perth
He pleaded guilty to failing to report an incident occasioning grievous bodily harm to police and failing to provide assistance.
The family of Sherylee Bonney, who was left as a paraplegic from the crash, told Perth's District Court they were pleased Bradshaw was remorseful.
"Yeah, we forgive him, it's just owning up to your responsibilities for any family ... if you do harm to a person, be honest about it, come forward," Bonney's father, Rob Ugle, said.
"She's good at the moment.
"She's got a lot of operations to come ... and wanted to come today, she's happy."
Prosecutors are looking to bring forward a third charge.
Bradford was jailed today while he waits to be sentenced in April.
